Watermaker repair and service for yachts
We install, repair and service watermakers and filtration systems so your yacht has clean, safe water on board.
A watermaker is what lets a yacht stay at anchor for days, but it is also one of the most sensitive systems on board. Membranes, high-pressure pumps and pre-filters need regular care, and a small fault quickly turns into low output or salty water.
What we do
- New watermaker installations and replacements
- Servicing: pre-filters, membranes, pumps and seals
- Diagnosis of low output and high salinity
- Winterisation and recommissioning
- Water filtration, UV and water quality testing
- Integration with freshwater tanks and pumps
Signs your watermaker needs attention
- It produces less water than it used to
- The salinity reading is rising or the water tastes salty
- The high-pressure pump is noisy or the pressure is unstable
- Pre-filters clog much faster than usual

Frequent questions
How often should a watermaker be serviced?
It depends on use, but at least once a year and before and after long periods without use. Pre-filters need checking much more often.
Can you install a new watermaker on an older yacht?
Yes. We look at the space, power and existing plumbing and propose an installation that fits the vessel.
What should I do before leaving the yacht for the winter?
The watermaker should be flushed and preserved correctly. We can do the winterisation and the recommissioning in spring.
